Crazy Snow Drifts from the near Blizzard

This snowstorm barely missed qualify for "blizzard" status. I think the winds had to be 30mph+ and sustained for at least 3 hours to qualify. However, there was enough wind to create some pretty large snowdrifts.

One corner of the roof had a 2+ feet drift on Friday night. So I climbed a ladder to knock down some it. By Saturday morning, it had reformed and was even bigger.

The pond heater (see a few posts below) really helps. However during this snowfall, I did end up shovelling snow out of the pond 3 times. It was accumulating in the pond and turning slushy. I was worried that the sheer volume of the slush would will up the whole pond and freeze the koi. He (and the shebunken) are alright though.
