Best Happy Hour Ever

Jana "the Second Best" Jurkovich set up a happy hour at Kyoto's to celebrate my promotion. It was the best happy hour ever. I must have eaten 5 rolls worth of sushi over a 3 hour period. The pictures have the usual suspects who hit Kyoto's for lunch. Thanks Jana.

Nike 6 month outsole warranty comes through

Remember these shoes that I got for my birthday back in May. Well they came with the 6 month outsole warranty and I managed to wear a hole through the toe in 5 and 1/2 months. Called up Nike, got a claim number and sent them in. Well a few weeks later, Nike sends me a voucher for a new pair of the latest model .. the Air Breathe Cage II

Crazy Snow Drifts from the near Blizzard

This snowstorm barely missed qualify for "blizzard" status. I think the winds had to be 30mph+ and sustained for at least 3 hours to qualify. However, there was enough wind to create some pretty large snowdrifts.

One corner of the roof had a 2+ feet drift on Friday night. So I climbed a ladder to knock down some it. By Saturday morning, it had reformed and was even bigger.

My home made snow sled ... not so good

My homemade sled (rubbermaid 20 gallon storage container lid) did not work too well as a sled. Click on pictures for larger views.
